Little Mary, daughter of W. H. Inman, died at the home of its grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sapp, July 9th, after being dangerously ill for nine weeks. In spite of all that kind hands could do, the reaper came and little Mary's spirit was wafted to its home in Heaven.

    Jonathan Webb Graves passed away Monday night, 3 April 1911 at his home on North Oak Street. He was a printer.
    J. W. was born on 29 September 1830 in Indiana. He moved to Missouri as a child. J. W. became a printer at 16 years of age. He served in the Civil War in the 1860s and was an officer in the Calvary under the service of Marmaduke and Price in Trans-Mississippi department. In 1868 he established the Cleburne Chronicle in Johnson County, TX and moved to Graham, Young County, TX in 1876. In August 1876, he started the Graham Leader newspaper. J. W. was a Methodist and a member of the Masonic Order as Royal Arch Mason.
    He sold the Graham Leader in the Fall of 1904 and retired.
    J. W. married Sarah C. Inman in 1855. She was a 16 year old girl of Springfield, Missouri.
    He is buried at Oakgrove cemetery, Graham, Young county, TX.

    L. Inmon, Longtime Resident of County, Dies Tuesday Night
    Lafayette Inmon, 70, resident of Denton County for the past 40 years, died at his home east of Gribble Springs Tuesday night, of acute indigestion. He is survived by three sons, C. L. Inmon of Dallas and E. D. and J. A. Inmon of Gribble Springs, and a daughter, Mrs. Ethle Wardlow of Denton.
    Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock, at the Baptist Church of Gribble Springs, with Rev. C. A. Earsom, pastor of the First Christian Church here, in charge, and burial was in the Gribble Springs cemetery.

Sanger Man Dies at 64

    SANGER - John A. Inmon, 64, a retired farmer and a resident of Denton County all his life, died unexpectedly here Monday afternoon as he was returning home from shopping for groceries.
    Inmon, born Feb. 4, 1890 in the Green Valley Community, was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a veteran of World War I.
    He was also a member of the First Baptist Church.
    His survivors include his wife; two brothers, E. D. Inmon of Denton and C. L. Inmon of Terrill, and one sister, Mrs. Ethel Wardlaw of Hobbs, N. M.
    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church here with the Rev. Ross O. Ward officiating.
    Masonic graveside services will be held in the Sanger Cemetery.

    Graveside services were scheduled for 4:30 p.m. today at Cooper Creek Cemetery for Charles L. Inman, 59, who died in Terrell Wednesday.

GOLDEN WEDDING

Mr. and Mrs. John Inman of Round Rock will be honored at an open house Sunday, Oct. 7, from 2 to 5 p.m. The couple was married Oct. 6, 1912m at Pond Spring and have spent their entire lives in the Austin area. Hosts for the party will be their children - Mrs. Catherine Shelton, Houston; Mrs. Corene Mueller, Los Angeles, Calif.; H. Leon Inman, Washington, D.C.; and Austinites Mrs. Maxine Thomas, Mrs. Doris Conway and Mrs. Iris Carr. The couple also has four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Lloyd Rushing Painter

KELLER --Lloyd Steven "Chuck" Rushing, a painter, died Sunday at his Keller home. He was 45.
    Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park.
    Mr. Rushing was born in Vernon and had lived in Tarrant County for 21 years.
    He was member of Twin Oaks Baptist Church, was an ordained Independent Baptist minister and had been a police officer for Haltom City for 3 1/2 years.
    Mr. Rushing was a veteran of the Navy, the Army and the National Guard.
    Survivors: Wife, Linda Rushing of Keller, four daughters, Sherry Burns and Vicky Hauck of Fort Worth, Debbie Spradlin of Keller and Patty Pyburn of Decatur; four brothers, Michael Rushing of Irving, Leman Rushing of Lubbock, Bobby Rushing of Plainview and Danny Rushing of Paradise; four sisters, Helen Newsome of Arlington, Shirley Cline of Haltom City, Lynda Cate of Plainview and Debbie Collie of Boyd; and five grandchildren.

ISAAC T. FAUGHT

    Isaac T. Faught, 74, Rt. 1, Anna, died Sunday in Collin Memorial Hospital. He was born Dec. 8, 1898 in Texas, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Faught. He was a retired farmer and was of Methodist faith.
    Survivors include three brothers, David C. Faught of Anna, C. L. Faught of Highland, Jerry Faught of Lake Dallas, three sisters, Mrs. Sara Wigley of Ft. Worth, Mrs. Charles Moore of Garland, Mrs. Lillie Carroll of Vunes, several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday in Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow chapel with Rev. Grady Langford officiating.

MRS. M. M. CARROLL DIED FRIDAY AT 3

    Mrs. Martha M. Carroll, widow of the late Judge Joe A. Carroll, in his lifetime one of the best known citizens of Denton, died at the family home on West Oak street shortly after 3 o'clock Friday afternoon. Death was directly due to the bursting of an interior abscess, but was indirectly aided by old age and a stomach trouble of long duration. Mrs. Carroll had been slightly sick since early in October, but her condition did not become dangerous until about two weeks ago.
    Mrs. Carroll, who was Miss Martha Inman, was 76 years and 10 days old. She was married in about 1866 to Judge Carroll. One child was born to them, but died in infancy. Moving to the old Carroll homestead after the marriage, Mrs. Carroll had resided in Denton continuously since. Judge Carroll died in 1892.
    Mrs. James Flow and C. W. Inman of Denton, J. M. Inman of Slidell and I. D. Inman living near Pilot Point, are surviving sister and brothers. Sidney J. Carroll and Mrs. P. P. McDermott of Dallas are stepchildren.
    The funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Sunday morning at the I.O.O.F. cemetery with interment following. Rev. Oscar T. Cooper will conduct the service.

Mrs. L.L. Inman, 37, died Tuesday at her home in the East Mound community following a three months illness. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at St. John's Methodist Church. Rev. Walter V. O'Kelly will officiate. Mrs. Inman was born Aug. 11, 1911 in Johnson County, Neb. The family moved to Hale County three years ago from Redland, Calif. She was Miss Irene M. Shores before her marriage Sept. 28, 1930, at Hollyoak, Okla. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors are her husband and six children, Glenda Lee, Robert Warren, Florence Irene, Richard Dean, Mary Jean and Norris Lynn; her mother, Mrs. Mabel Shores; five brothers, Laurance Shores, North Richland, Wash.; Wayne Shores, Rialto, Calif.; Eldon Shores, Juanita, Neb.; and Leroy Shores, Madrid, Neb.; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Mickels, Madrid, Neb. Funeral arrangements are under direction of the Roy G. Wood Funeral Home.

Funeral Rites Held In Liberty Hill For Joe Inman

    Funeral services were held for Mr. Joe Inman Tuesday, August 14, at 10 o'clock at Buck Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of Friedrich Funeral Home of Georgetown.
    Mr. Inman died Sunday in an Austin hospital at the age of 76 years after an illness of 12 days.
    The Rev. Colin Furr, pastor of the Liberty Hill Methodist Church conducted the services at the cemetery. Pallbearers were Messrs. Joe and Wesley Brown, Herschel Dycus, Wiley Dycus, Henderson Inman and Joe Staton.
    Survivors are a son, Francis Inman of Austin, and two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Hill of Houston and Mrs. Elbert Tucker of Liberty Hill.
    Joe Inman was born July 21, 1875, near Rock House. He was born and grew to manhood on the same farm. He married Jessie Law July 29, 1907, near Rock House, and to this union five children were born, three of whom survive. He was a devout Christian, a loving father and a kind neighbor.

ELKINS, Charles Owen
    Charles Owen Elkins, Randall County rancher, died at 11:30 p.m. Saturday in his Canyon home, 510 12th St. He had been a resident of Canyon for 10 years.
Elkins, 69 years old, had ranched in Randall County and Colorado and farms near Tulia.
    He was born July 29, 1889 in Johnson County, Ill. He was a member of the Baptist Church of Tulia.
    Funeral services were held Tuesday in the First Baptist Church of Canyon. Rev. Straus Atkinson, pastor and Rev. Neil Record, pastor of the Tulia Baptist Church, officiated.
    Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Tulia.
    Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ottalee Elkins; two sons, Everett Elkins and Roy Elkins, Tulia; two daughters, Mrs. Edith Vaught, Phoenix and Mrs. Louise Reeves, Oakland; two stepsons, James A. Inman, Lamar, Colo. and Jerre Inman, Canyon; three brothers, E. R. Elms, Amarillo; E. G. Elkins, Lubbock; and A. J. Elkins, Long Beach, Calif.; and a sister Mrs. Elsie Davis, Loveland, Colo.

Anthony Tony Innmon Died Wednesday Nite, June 2nd in Bertram.
    Anthony Tony Innmon died Wednesday night, June 2nd in the Bertram Hospital, after an illness of about ten days. Tony Innmon was born March 10, 1881 in the Rock House community in Williamson County, being a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Innmon. He was united in marriage to Miss Susan Smith on August 11th, 1904. Seven children were born to this union, four daughters and three sons. One daughter, Savanah preceded her father in death. Mr. and Mrs. Innmon
moved to Bertram the early part of 1947. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
    Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock Friday morning, June 4th at the Edgar Funeral Home in Bertram, with Rev. A. D. Eberhart of Austin officiating.
    Pall bearers were his grandsons: Weldon Staton, Darwin Staton, Carroll Innmon, Earl Innmon, L. V. Staton and Russell Law.
    Burial was in the Liberty Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Edgar Funeral Home.
    Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Susan Innmon of Bertram; three daughters, Mrs. Hays Belk, Mrs. Ira Staton and Miss Earldene Innmon, all of Austin, Anthony Innmon of Liberty Hill and LeRoy Innmon of Minneapolis, Minnesota; two brothers, Jack Innmon of Austin and Francis Innmon of Harlingen. One sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Harriston and four brothers, Hite, Willie, Joe and John Innmon preceded their brother in death. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services for Leonard Lee Inman, 42, will be conducted at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Rev. E. L. Smetz, pastor of the Seth Ward Baptist Church will officiate in the services at the Lemons Chapel. Inman died at 8 o'clock Saturday morning at the home of his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. W. H. Inman, 2516 Ferrell Street, Plainview after a seven month illness. He was born at Osceola, TX and resided at Plainview for several years ago when he and his family moved to California. Inman returned to Plainview two months ago. Mrs. Inman is the former Zelma Kemp Smith. The couple were married in 1950 at Clovis, NM. Besides Mrs. Inman, survivors are four daughters, Mary Jane, Plainview; Florence, Covina, Calif.; Barbara, San Bernardino, Calif.; and Mrs. F. M. Campbell. Robert, San Bernardino; Richard, Covina; Norris, Plainview; two brothers, Jack Inman, Fort Worth and Melvin Inman, Tempe, Ariz., Interment will be in the IOOF cemetery here.

The newcomer weighed in at six pounds, five ounces and is also the grandson of Mrs. Julius Bernhardt. . .

Still retaining much of its former beauty is the two-story dwelling of 949 Lakeshore drive with its stately columns and grandeur of bygone days. Built by B. Sachs, a Port Arthur merchant and later purchased by Mrs. Sallie Inman, the home was moved from Procter to Lakeshore around 1935.

Mrs. Inman Had Hotel For many years Mrs. Inman operated the Lakeview hotel, which was located at Procter street and Waco avenue, where Bluestein's now stands. Mrs. Inman moved to Port Arthur in 1902.

Mrs. Edwin Booth of 4449 Alamosa avenue, the former Grace Inman, and her sister, Mrs. Ruth Inman Parr of York Manor, still reside in Port Arthur. Their brother, Major Inman, Chevrolet dealer, lives in Orange. Another brother, Philip, died a number of years ago. Another brother, William, also died.

Inman ran Lakeview dining ...

    The arrival in heaven of Mrs. John R. Adams caused Port Arthur to lose one of its greatest historians. She pioneered here and lived here until her demise July 1, 1965. She was known as "The First Lady of Port Arthur." She was Port Arthur's "First Grand Dame."
    I decided to write about the Old Lakeview Hotel, known as the "Honeymooner's Hotel" that stood on the south side of Procter Street at the corner of Waco Avenue where Bluestein's Department Store stood.
    So I consulted a true composition that I wrote about Mrs. Adams when she was living and quoted many interesting things to me about Port Arthur. Mrs. Inman ran the Lakeview Hotel where all of the young brides, newly arrived here, stayed with their grooms.
    Mrs. Inman ran a fine dining room where for fifty cents a big, delicious, home-cooked meal could be eaten. Mamma was one of the young brides along with Mrs. "Dick" Flanagan and Mrs. Pat Reed, Dr. Reed's wife.
    In later years, Mrs. Inman's son, Phillip Inman owned the Chevrolet automobile agency on Procter Street right next door to the old Linn Ford Motor Company. Mrs. Inman's husband who had a false leather hand, ran a small grocery store on the north side of Procter Street in the three hundred block that was kept so clean that you could eat off of the wide boards of the floor.
    I remember how he used to open the back doors. Customers came in through the alley as well as through the front door. And, the cool lake breeze blew right on through. He kept the alley swept clean, too. The sun shown in, too.
    Yes, the brides stayed at the Lakeview Hotel. They didn't stay at the more expensive Plaza hotel. It was the Lakeview until the newlyweds could get their feet on the ground and either build or find a house to live in.
    Mrs. Adams said that "The first car in Port Arthur was owned and run by Bob Lazenby, a bachelor, who resided at the Lakeview Hotel. He rented his car out with himself as chauffer for $12. Henry Sterns had the second car here. He was the son of George Sterns who built the, now demolished, elaborate home back of the Port Arthur College." (That is all LUPA now.) "The Natatorium was built for the burned down Sabine Hotel, not the Plaza Hotel," she said.

    Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Booth of 3114 Sixth street announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Martha Sallyann Booth, to Howard James Bernhardt, son of Mrs. Julius Bernhardt of 2745 Twin City highway, Griffing Park, and the late Mr. Bernhardt.
    Miss Booth is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Price Inman, pioneer residents of this city, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Graves Booth of Austin. She is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson high school, attended Mary Baldwin college in Staunton, Va., and graduated from Southern Methodist university. Miss Booth is a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority and a teacher at Tyrrell school.
    Mr. Bernhardt is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Bernhardt, also pioneer residents of this city, and the late Mr. and Mrs. F. Winslow Gest of Giddings. He is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson high school and Texas A&M college. During his military service he was a lieutenant and saw service in Korea. He is a chemical engineer with the DuPont company.

Mrs. A. T. Innmon Died Monday, March 20 in Burnet Hospital
    Mrs. A. T. Innmon of Bertram died at about noon Monday, March 20th in a Burnet hospital.
Mrs. Innmon, nee Susan Smith was born October 6, 1885, in Bastrop County, Texas, being a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Smith. She was united in marriage to Anthony Innmon on August 11th, 1904. Seven children were born to this union, 4 daughters and 3 sons. She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Bertram. Mrs. Innmon had lived most of her life in Bertram. Her husband preceded her in death June 2, 1954. One daughter also preceded her in death.
    Funeral services were held at 10:00 o'clock Wednesday morning, March 22nd at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Bertram, with Rev. Tom S. Ballard and Rev. W. E. Dickerson officiating.
    Interment was in the Liberty Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Edgar Funeral Home.
    Pall bearers were her grandsons: Carroll Innmon, Earl Innmon, Larry Innmon, Charles Staton, Darwin Staton and L. V. Staton.
    Survivors are three daughters: Mrs. Lemma Staton of Austin, Mrs. Della Belk of Austin and Mrs. Earldene Seay of Japan; three sons: Anthony Innmon of Liberty Hill, Cap Innmon of Austin, and Leroy Innmon of Minneapolis, Minnesota; four sisters, Miss Ella Smith of Bertram, Mrs. Annie Whitehead of Bertram, Mrs. Lizzie Bush of Austin, and Mrs. Lillian Webb of Spokane, Washington; and one brother W. T. Smith of Abilene. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Andrew J. Inman Dies In Austin; Rites Monday

    Andrew J. Inman, 88, of Austin died in an Austin hospital Saturday, November 26. He was a retired carpenter and member of the Baptist Church.
    Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Hyltin-Manor Funeral Home with the Rev. J. F. Owen officiating.
    Pallbearers were A. J. Inman, Jr., J. W. Hardin, Eugene Hardin, Roy Merritt, Bob Humphries and Olin G. Humphries, Jr.
    Burial was in the Liberty Hill Cemetery.
    Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lizzie Inman; five sons, Lee Inman, Arva Inman of Austin; Neal Inman, Abilene; Herschel Inman, San Antonio; and Clyde Inman of Sacramento, California; daughter Mrs. Bessie Humphries, of Austin; two step-daughters, Mrs. Alma Craighton of Breckenridge and Mrs. C.     BROWNFIELD (Special) -- Mrs. Ruby Lee Parks, 82, of Brownfield died about 2:07 pm Friday in University Hospital in Lubbock.     A native of Benton, KY., Mrs. Parks was married to Sam H. Parks in 1905 in Paris, Tenn. She moved from there to Quanah and on to Terry County in 1927. She and her husband were engaged in farming and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Brownfield.
    Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. V. R. Marlin of Quanah, Mrs. J. F. Singleton of Seagraves, Mrs. Fred Ford of New Deal and Mrs. Charles W.     Arva Jackson Inman, age 70 of Liberty Hill, died Friday, March 11, 1977, at the Veteran's
Hospital in Temple.
    Funeral services were held Sunday, March 13 at the Davis Funeral Chapel in Georgetown with Minister Cecil Alexander in charge of the services. Burial was in the Liberty Hill Cemetery.

    Surviving are his wife of Greenville; daughter; Charlotte Bellah of Glendale, Ariz. and Ann Bolton of Huntington Beach, Calif.; brothers, John Arant of New Babylon, N. Y. and Hugh David Arant of Dallas; grandchildren, Richard Bellah and Randy Bellah, both of Glendale, Ariz., Patricia Mallack of Atlanta, Ga., Bruce Bolton and Allen Bolton of Huntington Beach, Calif.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Wallace Arant, and sister, Betty Rae Arant.

TEACHER INJURED IN AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT
   CHILDRESS, March 23. - Miss Dollie Belle Inman of Denton, Childress school teacher, is in a hospital here suffering from a broken spinal column as a result of an automobile accident Monday night.
    Miss Inman was riding in a car driven by Miss Marie Fuston, another teacher, and occupied by Belvis Bailey, automobile dealer, who was demonstrating the car.
    Striking loose sand on a gravel road in the Loco community, the car skidded and overturned. Bailey and Miss Fuston were bruised.

Crash Victim Funeral in City
    Funeral services for Miss Dolly Belle Inman, 20, who died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in a Childress hospital following automobile accident injuries received Monday evening, were to be held Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in the Church of Christ, conducted by the minister, Lyle Price. The body is to be taken overland Friday morning to Winnsboro for burial.
    Miss Inman is survived by her mother, Mrs. Belle Inman, 509 Welch Street; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Arant of Greenville and Mrs. Roy Frady of Olney; five brothers, John, Elvin, George and Clifton Inman of Denton and Gates Inman of Newsome. She was born May 8, 1917, in Newsome. She was graduated in the summer of 1937 from Teachers College, and had been teaching this year in Childress.
    The body arrived here at noon Thursday and was held in the Stover Funeral Home, and will be returned there following the funeral services in the Church of Christ until time to go to Winnsboro Friday morning. (source unknown)

   Final rites for Miss Dolly Belle Inman, who died Wednesday following automobile accident injuries received at Childress Monday, were held in Winnsboro, the former home of the family, Friday at 2:30 p.m., conducted by Lyle Price, minister of the Church of Christ here. Cousins served as pallbearers for burial in the Bethyl Cemetery. A service was held here Thursday afternoon in the Church of Christ, conducted by the local minister. A quartet composed of Mrs. Jack Hart, Charlie Mercer, H. Ray Anderson and A. B. Mackey, sang hymns.

    Services for Joseph "Joe" Inmon, former teacher and superintendent of schools with the Barry Independent School District in Navarro County, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church of Plano. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park.
    Mr. Inmon, who retired as the district personnel manager for the Internal Revenue Service in Dallas, died of natural causes Tuesday at his Plano home. He was 80.
    A native of Kerens, Texas, he graduated in 1934 from North Texas State University, now the
University of North Texas in Denton. After graduation, he taught in Barry and was eventually
superintendent until 1942.
    He moved to Dallas in 1942 and went on to serve 20 years with the IRS.
    He is survived by his wife, Pauline Inmon of Plano; a daughter, Annette Hooker of Houston; a sister, Ethel Inmon of Kerens; and two granddaughters.
    Memorials may be made to the Plano Dialysis Center or the First United Methodist Church of Plano endowment fund.

Charlie Inman

    Inman died Wednesday, July 22, in a Baytown hospital.
    He is survived by his wife, Loretha Inman of Baytown, sons and daughter-in-law, Tex Jay and Glenda Inman of Baytown, Charles Inman, II of Tampa, Fla., and Don Inman of Las Vegas; daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Wally Sabesta of Baytown; brothers, Harvey Inman of Crockett, Jay B.     Mr. Inman was born in Keller and had lived in Burleson 18 years.
    He retired from the city of Fort Worth in 1968, was a farmer for many years, a security guard at the old Spinks Airport and a custodian at Burleson Post Office.
    Mr. Inman was a World War I veteran and a Mason. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and reading the Bible.

    Anthony S. Innmon, 84, a lifelong resident of Georgetown, died in Austin on Friday, November 26, 1993.
    Services were held at 2 p.m., November 28, 1993, in Davis Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Jim Brazzil officiating. Burial was in the Liberty Hill Cemetery near Liberty Hill with Davis Funeral directors in charge.
    Pallbearers serving were Alan Nelson, Jeff Innmon, Robert Bunte, Earl Innmon, Jr., Ken Dorsa and L. V. Staton.
    Innmon was born to Anthony (Tony) and Susie (Smith) Innmon on September 21, 1909, in the Rockhouse Community in Williamson County. He married Emma E. Shepherd on December 29, 1929, in Liberty Hill. He was a rancher/farmer.
    Surviving Innmon are his wife, Emma Innmon of Georgetown; sons, Carroll Innmon an wife Lillian of Mesquite, Earl Innmon and wife Lee of Waco, and William T. Innmon of Liberty Hill; daughters, Earlene Dorsa and Leona Morris, both of Georgetown; sisters, Lemma Staton and husband Ira, and Dela Belk and husband Hays, all of Georgetown; a brother Leroy Innmon and wife Florence of Austin; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, one brother and one grandson.

    Born in Aug. 18, 1906, in Camp County, she was the daughter of Gates W. and Belle Sparkes Inman. She married Charles Arant Jr. in Coleman on Aug. 1, 1930. She was a Sunday school teacher and member of First Baptist Church of Greenville.
    Mrs. Arant is survived by daughters, Charlotte Bellah of Glendale, Ariz., and Ann Bolton of Huntington Beach, Calif., brother, George Inman of Denton; sister, Ethel Frady of Eureka Springs, Ark.; five grandchildren. she was preceded in death by her husband in 1983.

    Amanda O. Sampson was born Nov. 23, 1904, in Files Valley. She was a longtime resident of White Settlement. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ezra Sampson, in 1978; son, Edwin Sampson, in 1932; and son, Maurice Sampson, in 1968.
    She was a beloved mother and grandmother and "Granny" to all. She had a lifetime of caring for others and was a blessing to all who knew her. She was a homemaker and member of the White Settlement Church of the Nazarene.

    MELROSE, N.M. - Thomas L. Porter, 83, died Sunday, March 30, 1997, at Roswell.

    Virginia "Virgie'' Inman, 84, of Amarillo, died Monday, July 28, 1997.

    She married Ira Thomas Inman in 1928 at Archer City. He died in 1989.

    He was active in community affairs and church programs. Mr. Stephens was granted life membership in Arlington Chamber of Commerce and was elected Arlington Citizen of the Year in 1967.     DALZELL, Ill. - Sam E. Inman, 71, a former Amarillo resident, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 1997.
    Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Mueller Funeral Home at Peru, Ill., with the Rev. Douglas N. Jacobs of St. John's Lutheran Church of Peru officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery at La Salle.
    Mr. Inman was born in Lubbock, Texas, and moved to Amarillo in 1929. While living in Amarillo, he worked for GE Jones Electric from 1942 until 1976, when he moved to Peru and founded Inman Electric. He served as chief executive officer of Inman Electric until becoming ill.
    Mr. Inman was a 1944 graduate of Amarillo High School. He married Lois Jones in 1946 at Amarillo.
    Mr. Inman was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theater of Operations. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and was active in the Electrical Apparatus Service Association.
    Survivors include his wife; a son, David Inman of Peru; a daughter, Elaine Wood of Batavia; a brother, Wilford Inman of Houston; two sisters, Wanda Arp and Patricia Day, both of Amarillo; and five grandchildren.

    FOREST HILL - Jacqueline "Jackie" Hester, 61, a secretary for Commercial Credit Co., died Saturday, Oct. 25, 1997, at home after a very courageous battle with cancer.

    Jacqueline Hester was born Dec. 28, 1935, in Fort Worth. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church for many years. She was a member of Walnut Creek Country Club. She was employed by Commercial Credit Co. for 25 years. She played on the Walnut Creek Country Club Tennis Team for 18 years. She loved the sport and played as long as she was able. Her "Tennis Ladies" were so kind, helpful and compassionate to Jackie during her illness.
    She was preceded in death by her father, M. P. Inman.
    Survivors: Husband, Jerrell Hester of Forest Hill; son, Willie Keith of Weatherford; daughter, Debbie Teague of Fort Worth; mother, Thelma Inman of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Paul Teague and Christal Teague; and stepchildren, Jon Hester, Chris Hester, Jeremy Hester, Mary Hester and Jimmy Hester.

    Mrs. Hood was born in Wewoka, Okla. She moved from Albuquerque, N.M., to Amarillo 35 years ago.
    She was a homemaker and worked as a hairdresser at several nursing homes in Amarillo. She also was a saleswoman at Kline's department store. She was a tennis instructor and a yoga instructor and a member of San Jacinto Baptist Church.
    She married Gary Hood in 1958 at Lubbock.
    Mrs. Hood was preceded in death by a son, Rick Allen Hood, in 1985.
    Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Vicky Carter of Warrenton, Mo., and Debbie Fite of Amarillo; a son, Donnie Lovett of Amarillo; three sisters, Frankie Hartman of Muskogee, Okla., Lea Ellen Goodman of Wewoka and Judy Inman of Dallas; two brothers, Steve Edwards of Seminole, Okla., and Mike Edwards of Wewoka; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

    PAMPA - Monta C. Taylor, 92, died Friday, April 17, 1998.

    She married W.F. "Bill" Taylor in 1926 at Pampa. He died in 1973.

    CLYDE -- Mary Roberson Inman, 93, died Tuesday at her daughter's home near Clyde.
    Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Oplin Cemetery with the Rev. Dan Burrow officiating, directed by Bailey Funeral Home.
    Mrs. Inman was born in Pioneer and attended school in Oplin. She moved, in 1949, to Abilene, where she worked for Lanford and Sons as a seamstress for several years. She was employed by the Abilene State School for 16 years until retiring in 1969. She moved to the Clyde area in the 1970s and was the widow of Carl M. Roberson, whom she married in 1923 in Oplin; and Francis Neal Inman, whom she married in 1972.
    Survivors include one daughter, Carlene Brooks of Clyde; two sons, Leonard Roberson of Rosebud, Ark., and Conrad Roberson of Odessa; one stepdaughter and two stepsons; two sisters, Christine Carrell of Baird and Minnie Grant of Lawn; 14 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; six step grandchildren; 12 step great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

    Faye (Peggy) Huckabay, 72, of Milano, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 1998, in Pflugerville.
    A homemaker most of her life, Peggy was born in Fresno, California, on April 10, 1926. She was the daughter of Leo Marvin and Wava (West) Inman.
    Her daughter, Barbara Kay Wells, preceded her in death on March 31, 1989.
    She is survived by her sons, Wallace (Tito) Holmes, of Pflugerville, Thomas Carden and his wife, Ella, of Crofton, Kentucky, and Jay Huckabay and wife, Dell, of Pflugerville; her sisters, Twyla Bratton, Wilda Fournier and Cleo Biggers, all of California. She is also survived by her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
    Friends may pay their respects from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 18, 1998, at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville.

    Lucille Frances Moffett Inman, 84, of Humble, Texas died March 9, in Houston. She was born August 28, 1914 in Burnet, to Enoch Leonidas and Sue Ann Read Moffett. She married Herchel D. Inman on November 27, 1934 in Burnet County.
    She was a member of the Schwab City Baptist Church in Schwab City. She had lived in the Humble and Houston area since 1945.
    She is survived by her children Warren (Butch) and Jeanne Inman, J.D. (Buddy) and Kathy Inman, grandchildren Warren Inman Jr., Deborah Inman, Daniel Inman, Darlene and Steve Ramirez, David and Tammy Inman, Steven and Kim Inman, Jerry Inman, Robert Inman, Mary O'Fiel, eleven great grandchildren; sister Lorena Lorano and aunt Lela Bostick.
    She was preceded in death by her husband Herschel D. Inman on March 31, 1966; a granddaughter Janette Lenall Inman on May 3, 1992 and two great grandchildren Sierra Inman and Emily Inman.
    Funeral service were held March 12, at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet. They were officiated by Rev. Gordon Edwards. Internment followed at Bear Creek Cemetery in Bertram beside her husband.

McClintock - James R. McClintock of Bedford, IN, died Saturday, July 3, 1999, at the Westview Nursing Home. Born on June 21, 1922, in Corsicana, TX, he was the son of Walter and Fannie (Able) McClintock. He married Freed (Elliott) Anderson, and she survives.
    Also surviving are three daughters, Beverly Hollon of Kansas, Deratha Smith of Mitchell, IN, and Agath Kay Sipes of Bedford, IN; one step-daughter, Cindy McBride of Nebraska; one step-son, Larry Anderson of Illinois; one sister, Wanda Starr of Bedford, IN; six grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one step-daughter, Connie Lynd; two brothers, Harvey McClintock, and Pete McClintock; two sisters, Audrey Inman and Ruby Roberts; and one granddaughter.
    He was retired from Crane and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge, the Moose Lodge, and the American Legion.

Evelyn Knox Inman 

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Evelyn Knox Inman, 84, died Wednesday, July 7, 1999, in Wichita Falls. 
    Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. today in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of
Memorial Park Funeral Home. 
    Mrs. Inman was born March 28, 1915. She was a member of University United Methodist Church in Wichita Falls and was a former member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was a member of Eastern Star and of St. Luke's United Methodist Church of Memphis. 
    Survivors include a daughter, June Inman Kees of Wichita Falls; two sons, Frank Jr. of Memphis and George Williamson Inman of Fredericksburg, Texas; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. 
    In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to MIFA.

Inez Inman 
Longtime Abilene State School employee

    Inez Inman, 93, employed by Abilene State School for more than 15 years until retiring in 1971, died Wednesday in a Clyde nursing home.
    Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First Church of the Nazarene with Garland Wallace, the Rev. Mike Woodard and O. W. Wilson officiating. Burial will be in McBee Cemetery, directed by North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange.
    Mrs. Inman was born in May and grew up in Lawn. She worked at Camp Barkeley Hospital during World War II. She was a member of World War II Ladies Auxiliary and Southwest Park Baptist Church, and was the widow of Coy Thomas Inman, whom she married in 1934 in Abilene.
    Survivors include two granddaughters, Joann Wayte and Tiger Virginia Gulich, both of Clyde; two great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
    Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

Gertrude Inman

    Gertrude "Pete" Inman, 84, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 1999.
    Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Trinity Baptist Church with Dr. David Evans of the church officiating. Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, 315 E. Fifth Avenue.
    Mrs. Inman was born in Willow, Okla., and moved to Amarillo in 1945. A retired bookkeeper for Albertson's, she was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
    Preceding her in death were her husband, Samuel Inman, a stepson, Samuel Inman Jr., and a stepdaughter, Joyce Brown.
    Survivors include a son, James Adams of Amarillo; a sister, Lela Mae Biggs of Fort Worth; a stepson, Wilford "Sonny" Inman of Houston; two stepdaughters, Pat Day and Wanda Earline Arp, both of Amarillo; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
    The family will be at 2116 S. Hughes. They suggest memorials be to Trinity Baptist Church.

Joe Frank Knoll

    SHAMROCK - Joe Frank Knoll, 63, died Saturday, Sept. 18, 1999.
    Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Church of Christ in Dozier with Terry Newell of Shawnee, Okla., officiating. Burial will be in Shamrock Cemetery by Wright Funeral Directors.
    Mr. Knoll was born in Shamrock and raised in Greasey Corner Junction in the Samnorwood Community, where he graduated from Samnorwood School in 1954. He received an associate degree from Clarendon College and attended West Texas State University in Canyon. He married Anita Lois Amerson of Dozier in 1959 and they moved to the Amarillo area, where
he worked for Firestone Tire Company before being transferred to Oklahoma. In 1969, he moved to Knoll, where he farmed and raised livestock and managed Lutie Cotton Gin for 10 years. He also served as Collingsworth County Commissioner for eight years, on Samnorwood
School Board for 12 years and in the National Guard for nine years. He was a member of the Samnorwood Lions Club, the Rotary Club in Shamrock and was a 32nd degree Mason.
    He was a member of Dozier Church of Christ in Dozier.
    Survivors include his wife; two sons, Joe Frank "Jody" Knoll Jr. of Canyon and Steven Arnold Knoll of Hereford; a daughter, Stacey Renea Knoll Morgan of Shamrock; his mother, John Faye Green of Shamrock; a sister, Joan Inman of Amarillo; and five grandchildren.

Dell Mathis

    HOOKER, Okla. - Dell Mathis, 82, died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at Liberal, Kan.
    Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Hooker Church of Christ with Neville Buchanan and Gary Moore officiating. Burial will be in Hooker Cemetery by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home.
    Mrs. Mathis was born in Elida, N.M., and moved with her family to Pampa. Later, she moved to Lefors, where she attended schools, graduated in 1934 and worked at the Post Office. She married Floyd Mathis in 1940 at Pampa.
    She and her husband moved to Artesia, N.M., back to Lefors, to Amarillo and to Hooker in 1950. She was a bookkeeper at Liberal Savings and Loan for 10 years, and at First National Bank for 9 years. For 48 years, she was a member of the Hooker Church of Christ, where
she taught Bible school.
    Survivors include her husband; two sons, Joe Mathis of Guymon and Bryan Mathis of Hooker; a sister, Jo Inman of Dallas; three grandchildren; and a greatgrandchild.
    The family suggests memorials be to Black Masa Bible Camp, Camp Billy Joe, and will be accepted at Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 745, Hooker, OK 73945.

    TULIA - H. A. "Harvie" Kinser, 86, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999.
    Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Hill, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery by Wallace Funeral Home.
    Mr. Kinser was born in Emory, where he attended schools. For 12 years and during World War II, he served with the Army and in 1945, moved to Plainview, where he was a police officer. In 1960, he moved to Tulia, where he was a farmer, rancher and truck driver. He worked for the John Deere House and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Calvary Baptist Church.
    His first wife, Mattie Foster, died in 1966. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ellen Kinser and a stepson, Sonny Anderson.
    He married Edythe Murphy in 1972 at Tulia. 
    Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Ruby Whitsett of Tulia and Shannah Kinser of Tulia; a son, Leroy Kinser of Dimmitt; two stepsons, Leon Anderson of Wilderado and Dale Anderson of Fritch; three stepdaughters, Marilyn Barnett of Tulia, Rebecca Matthews of Amarillo and Deana Weavers of Hereford; two sisters, Lois Clayton of Graham and Bessie Inman of Diboll; three brothers, Jack Kinser of Olney, Aud Kinser of Tulia and Claude Kinser of New Castle; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
    The family suggests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center in Amarillo.

    LLANO - Edna Lee Inman, 84, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 1999, in Llano.

    She was born Aug. 3, 1915, in Pontotoc and was a lifetime resident of Llano. She was a nurse's aide and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Alvin Inman

    PLAINVIEW - Alvin Inman, 82, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1999.
    Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Plainview Memorial Park with Floyd Stumbo, an elder at Broadway Church of Christ in Lubbock, officiating. Arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home.
    Mr. Inman was born in Wheeler. He joined the Army Air Corps in 1942 and was a member of the 9th Bombardment Group at Fort Sill, Okla. He did flight training in Dalhart and later did two years of combat flight training for B-17s. He was on Tinian Island in the Pacific Theater in 1944 and flew bombing missions in 1945.
    In 1946, he moved to Plainview, where he owned and operated a well service and trucking company. He was a member of Ninth and Columbia Church of Christ.
    Mr. Inman married Evelyn Johnson in 1937 at Pampa.
    Survivors include his wife; a sister, Reba Black of Dumas; and a brother, Elmer H. Inman of Denver.

Boston E. Justice

    Boston E. Justice, 97, of Canyon, died Friday, Dec. 24, 1999.
    Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Gayle Bowen, associate pastor of the First Baptist Church of Canyon, officiating. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors.
    Mr. Justice was born in Rolf, Okla., and moved to Texas in 1905. Two years later his family moved to Colorado where he graduated from Prichard High School. He moved to Childress when he was 18. 
    In 1928 Mr. Justice moved to Arizona where he farmed and ranched. He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Tolleson, Ariz. He returned to Texas in the 1950s.
    He married Lillie Mae Hendrick of Fort Worth in 1922. She died in 1994.
    Survivors include three daughters, Lorain Inman of Canyon, Maxine Wright of Avondale, Ariz., and Betty Montana of New London; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

    CLOVIS, N.M. - Robert Stanley Inman, 63, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2000.

    PAMPA - Oren "Bud" Simpson, 85, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2000.

    Mr. Simpson was born in Marlow, Okla., and was a mechanic. As a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, he was Sunday school teacher, honorary deacon and church treasurer.
    He married Imogene Robison in 1937 at Memphis.
    In 1962, he was preceded in death by a grandson.
    Survivors include his wife; a son, Bill Simpson of Arlington; two daughters, Margaret Inman of Pampa and Wanda Deering of Garland; a sister, Floy Graham of Floydada; seven  grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

    Mr. Allen was born in Dickens County and had lived in Amarillo for most of his life. In 1990, he retired after owning and operating Pete's Construction. He was a member of Grace Community Church.
    He married Esther Christmas in 1960 at Amarillo.

    CLAUDE - Zoe Milhoan Inman, 85, died Saturday, April 22, 2000.

    Mrs. Inman was born in White Deer and reared in Wildorado. She graduated from high school in 1932. She married Fred A. Inman in 1938 at Lubbock and they farmed together at Hereford for 34 years. She moved to Claude in 1972. She was a nurse for 17 years and a private care-giver in Groom, Panhandle, Pampa, and Claude before retiring at age 78. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hereford.
    Survivors include three daughters, Dora Ruth Gilley of Azle, and Freda Jean Daughtery and Margaret Gilmore, both of Broken Bow, Okla.; a son, Dwight Chester Inman of Odessa; two sisters, Mary Cade of Post and Louella Hayes of Amarillo; a brother, Charles Milhoan of Monroe, La.; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
    The family suggests memorials in lieu of flowers be to Boys Ranch, 600 W. 11th Avenue, Amarillo, TX 79101.

    Zelda Mae Inman, 92, of Amarillo, died Thursday, April 27, 2000.

    Mrs. Inman was born in Okfuskee County, Oklahoma. She moved to Amarillo in 1936 from Deaf Smith County. She was a homemaker and a member of San Jacinto United Methodist Church.
    She married Charles S. Inman in 1926. He died in 1993.
    Survivors include two daughters, Charlene Baker of Kingwood and Teresa Berg of Meadowview, Va.; three sons, Harold R. Inman of Alto, N.M., and Robert Inman and Larry Inman, both of Houston; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

    Vesta Lee Jones, 93, of Denton, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2000, at Denton Nursing Center. 
    She was born in Aubrey on Dec. 18, 1906, to L. Z. and Fannie Elizabeth (Hayden) Wilson. She married Leroy "Dick'' Jones in Denton on Jan. 30, 1926. He passed away Dec. 26, 1974. 
    Vesta was a homemaker and a member of the Old Alton Baptist Church. 
    She is survived by daughters, Shirley and husband Bob Dixon of Denton and Helen Inmon of Lewisville; sister, Ollie B. Myers of The Colony; brother, L. Z. Wilson Jr. of California; five grandchildren, Gerald Inmon, Jackie Fleenor, Cheryl Inmon, Jo Jackson and Jana Anderson; 10 great-grandchildren. 
    Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home. The Rev. Cliff Feeler will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.

    Funeral services for William D. Benton, 81, of Reese were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 10, in the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston with Rev. Bill Benton and Rev. Craig Carter officiating.
    Burial was in the Reese Cemetery.
    Mr. Benton died Wednesday, June 7, in a Jacksonville hospital.
    He was born July 13, 1918 in Douglas, Ariz.
    Mr. Benton was a retired farmer and charter member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Frankston.
    Survivors include his wife, Billie Sue Benton of Reese; sons, Bill Benton and Tom Benton, both of Reese; a daughter, Lestie Inman of Arlington; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    Pallbearers were Desman Wells, Ed Landry Sr., Ed Landry Jr., Jeff Carter, John Cleveland and Charlie Bettge.

    Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker and a member of First Fruits Ministries. She had lived in the Gorman area the past two or three years.

B. B. 'Bob' Inman
    B. B. "Bob" Inman, 83, a resident of Wichita Falls since 1996, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2000 in the local hospice center. 
    Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000, at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Free and the Rev. Jim Montgomery of Westside Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Clovis, Calif., Cemetery. 
    Mr. Inman was born on Sept. 13, 1916, in Corsicana, Texas. He attended Westside Baptist Church. He served with the U.S. Air Force during World War II with a lot of his tour in Iwo Jima. He was a retired machinist. 
    Survivors include his wife, Helen Inman of Wichita Falls; a son, Robert Inman of Wichita Falls; a daughter, Bonnie Dee Bennett of Burlington, Iowa; three stepdaughters, Sue McCoy of Tulsa, Okla., Gerry Harris of Neosho, Mo., and Carol
Dartez of Carthage, Texas; four sisters, Anna Mae Young of Fayetteville, Ark., Nina Maude Hardin of Plainview, Texas, Sammie Lene Bellis of Fort Worth and Nelle Frances Prakel of Fresno, Calif.; several grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. 
    The family will be at the funeral home from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening.

    Sherman - Mildred Marie Banks Hash, 81, of Sherman, died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2000, at Wilson N. Jones Memorial Hospital in Sherman. 
    Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1, 2000, in the chapel of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman. The Rev. Allan W. Snider of Key Memorial United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Denton. 
    She was born Sept. 12, 1918, in Dorchester, Texas, to Ritta Lucinda Cook and William Riley Banks III. She attended Dorchester and Sherman schools and married Harold Woodrow Wilson on March 9, 1942, in Durant, Okla. 
    Mrs. Hash lived in Denton for almost 45 years before moving to Sherman in 1990. She was a longtime member of Asbury Methodist Church in Denton before transferring her membership to Key Memorial Methodist Church in Sherman in 1990. 
    Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Shari Sue and Howard Lynn Christie of Garland; two granddaughters, Emily Lauren Christie and Sarah Elizabeth Christie, both of Garland; three sisters, Viola Ann Hoover of Lynchburg, Va., and Lois Evelyn Inman and Jean Adamson, both of Sherman. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, a son, Harold Dallas Hash; three brothers, Jessie Ray Banks, John Melvin Banks, and J.B. Banks; and a sister, Minnie Mae Hall.

Thomas O. Inman

    ODESSA — Thomas O. Inman, 79, of Odessa, a retired contract welder, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000, at Avalon Place Nursing Home.
    Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Ernest Easley officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. 
    Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
    He was born in Oil City, La., and had been a resident of Odessa since 1957. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II.
    SURVIVORS: Daughters, Jan Hensley of Odessa, Linda Mitchell of Stephenville and Billie Galvin of San Antonio; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

    Thomas O. Inman, 79, of Odessa, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000, in Odessa after a lengthy illness.
    He was born July 16, 1921, in Oil City, La., to John O. and Minnie Windmann Inman. While serving in the Army Air Corp during World War II, he married Jo Laverne Hyde in 1943. In 1957, they moved to Odessa, where he worked as a welder in the oil industry until his retirement in 1989. They resided in the same neighborhood for over 40 years. Mr. lnman was a member of Fellowship Masonic Lodge No. 1385. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and relished their five Super Bowl titles. His entire life was devoted to his loving wife and three daughters.
    Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Laverne Inman, in 1993.
    He is survived by his three daughters, Linda Mitchell and her husband, Dudley, of Stephenville, Jan Hensley and her husband, Larry, of Odessa and Billie Jo Galvin and her husband, Don, of San Antonio; five grandchildren, Natalie Nance (Harlan) of Stephenville, Nicole Mitchell of Stephenville, Melissa Hensley of Houston, Jason Bell of San Antonio and Jessica Bell of San Antonio; and two great-grandchildren, Justin and Jalynn Nance.
    Mr. Inmans family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all of his neighborhood friends for their kindness and support throughout the years.
    Public visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
    Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000, at the Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Ernest Easley officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
    The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Home Hospice of Odessa, 516 N. Texas, Odessa, Texas, 79761.

    FLORENCE, Texas — Services for Norman C. “Jack” Jutson, 72, of Florence are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Heartfield Funeral Home in Hearne. The Rev. Eddie Mayo of Elliott Baptist  Church will officiate. Burial will be at Martin’s Prairie Cemetery near Bryan.
    Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
    Mr. Jutson died Monday at Georgetown Hospital.
    He was born in Navasota. He had been a maintenance man for an apartment complex. He served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Five Points Baptist Church near Hearne.
    Survivors include his wife, Betty Sue Smitherman Jutson of Florence; a son and daughter-in-law, Norman C. “Jacky” and Holly Jutson of Bryan; two stepsons and daughters-in-law, Phillip and Linda Fann of Frankston, Texas, and Larry and Anna Maria Fann of Liberty Hill, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and James Holley of El Dorado, Texas, and Janet and Rick Smalley of College Station; a brother, Vernon Jutson of Hearne;
three sisters and a brother-in-law, Barbara Sloan of College Station, Audrey and Eugene Inman of Angelton, Texas, and Lillian Ruth Price of Millican; numerous nieces and nephews, and eight grandchildren.

    FRIONA - Lillian O. "Crow" Jones, 91, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000.
    Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Geary Brogden of Albuquerque, N.M., and the Rev. Don Boren officiating. Burial will be in Friona Cemetery by
Ellis-Blackwell Funeral Home.
    Mrs. Jones was born in Brown County and was a longtime resident of Friona. She was a sales clerk at Crows Meat Co. and Housers Grocery.
    She was a member of First Baptist Church.
    She married W. H. "Shorty" Jones in 1939 at Clovis, N.M. He died in 1973. She also was preceded in death by two sons, Dewayne Cleveland in 1992 and Charles Jones in 1995.
    Survivors include two sons, Roy L. Jones of Elkins and W. L. "Dub" Cleveland of Friona; two daughters, Doris Allison of Eugene, Ore., and Raye Jena London of Friona; and three
sisters, Dophine Betzen and Sue Inmon, both of Hereford and Jewell Robason of Friona.

    Mr. Kinser was a farmer and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Japan during WWII.

    ODESSA — Sue Carol Inmon, 65, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital.

    She was born in Rotan and moved to Odessa from Amarillo in 1951. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Edna Marie Inman

    Edna Marie Inman, a resident of Fremont County for 53 years, died Thursday, Nov 2, 2000, at her home at the age of 90. Services for Mrs. Inman are 10 a.m. Monday, Nov 6, at the Davis Funeral Home. The Rev. Earl Detwiler officiates. Burial is at Mountain View Cemetery.
    Edna Marie Kier was born Aug 29, 1910, at Stanberry, Mo., the daughter of Maybell (Bugh) Kier and Floyd T. Kier. She married Leon Spencer Inman on Dec 16, 1928 in Stockville, Neb. They lived at Seneca and North Platte, Neb. before moving to the Arapahoe area in 1947. Riverton became their home in 1950. She worked as a waitress for many years and was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary.
    Edna Inman was preceded in death by her husband, Leon, in 1981; a son, Marlon Inman; a baby daughter, Patricia; her parents; three brothers, Earl, Ed and Dick Kier; and one sister, Margaret Weber.
    Survivors are two sons, George and his wife Ellen of Riverton, and Dennis and his wife Ruby of Elko, Nev.; two daughters, Donita Pickinpaugh and her husband Neal of Riverton and Sheryl Winkler and her husband Roy of Greybull; 21 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter, Kaitlin of Casper.

    EDROY - Rebecca Garza de Martinez, a homemaker, died Nov. 27, 2000. She was 73.

Jean Inmon 

    Services for Jean Inmon of Temple will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple with the Rev. Wilson Keenan officiating.
    Mrs. Inmon died Friday, Feb. 23.
    She married Dr. Thomas Inmon in 1944 and they moved to Temple in 1963. Dr. Inmon worked at Scott and white Memorial hospital and Mrs. Inmon was a homemaker.
    Her husband preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 1984.
    Survivors are two sons, John and James Inmon; a daughter, Jeanette Inmon Miller; a brother, Jack Wilcox of Colorado; a sister Annette Wilcox Aumann of Colorado; and five grandchildren.
    The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, or American Lung Association.

    Jean Inmon, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, left this earth on the afternoon of February 23rd, 2001. Her daughter, Jeanie Inmon Miller, her two sons, John and Jim Inmon, her son-in-law Ron Miller, her daughter-in-law Kay Inmon, and future daughter-in-law, Delvie McDannell honored her transition. Her five grandchildren, (Chris, Kim, and Kelli Miller, Kenny Inmon, and Jason and Jesse Inmon) blessed her continuation, as did her brother and sister-in-law Jack and Jackie Wilcox, and sister Annette Wilcox Aumann.
    Jean Inmon and Dr. Thomas W. Inmon joined their lives in 1944. Dr. Inmon served as a Colonel in the Army Medical Corps for 20 years. During Tom's military career, Jean created comfortable homes for her family in several states and in Europe. Her third son, Jim, was born the day before Tom left the United States to be stationed as a MASH unit commander during the Korean conflict. Jean stayed behind to raise a newborn son and two preschoolers.
    Dr. Inmon joined the staff of Scott and White in 1965, after his retirement from the Army, and Jean continued her career as homemaker, mother, and budding artist.
    Her love of the true and natural began in Denver, where she was born, and flourished in the Rocky Mountains, as a student of the University of Colorado, and at her summer cabin in Buffalo Creek, Colorado.
    She contributed to the world of Arts and Humanities through her talents, and supported Hill County Arts foundation and the Bell County Fine Arts Group. She exhibited her art in various galleries, including Scott and White Hospital.
    Jean also worked for several years as a volunteer Yellow Bird at Scott and White.
    She had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel, as she marveled at the beauty in God's great creations.
    Her loving wisdom is reflected in her nieces and nephews, Amy Borque and Paul Wilcox, Chris and Tyler Waite, Sara Johnson, Laurie Armstrong, Kathy Carlson, Kristen Field, Karen Zelan, and their families.
    Her gentle, guiding spirit is now a part of the lives of the friends and family she held so dear.

    ABILENE - Winnie Wilhelmenia Fraser Inmon, 91, formerly of Plainview, died Thursday, April 26, 2001, in Abilene. 
    Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Evergreen Cemetery in Paris.
    Mrs. Inmon was a rancher and homemaker. She spent 30 years in Lamar County before returning to Hale County.
    Survivors include a son, Ernest Clay Inmon Jr.; two daughters, Nancy Jane McVay and Molly Jean Huffman; six grandchildren; and three great-grandsons.

Todd is a 1988 graduate of Middlebury College, Middlebury, Vt., with a bachelor of arts degree. He is also a graduate of the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business with a master of business administration degree in finance. He is the vice president of Centre Group in New York.

    A graveside service for Leonard H. Inman, Jr., 67, of Bryan and formerly of Jacksonville, Fla. is set for 11 a.m. Friday at Smetana Cemetery.

    Mr. Inman died Monday in St. Joseph Rehabilitation Center.
    He was an Air Force veteran and was retired from Ryder Truck Line.

    S. MONTFORD (MONTY) INMAN met the Lord, whom he served faithfully as a Baptist minister for over sixty-five years, on January 2, 2002. Rev. Inman preached his first sermon at the Star of Hope Mission on Fannin Street in Houston when he was a teenager. He later said, "My text was, 'Jesus, the light of the world,' and I hadn't been preaching three minutes until we were all in total darkness." Monty Inman was ordained as a minister at First Baptist Church in Houston on July 25, 1934. While attending Baylor University he served as pastor at Gena, Texas, Tennessee Valley, Texas (now under Lake Belton) and Oenaville, Texas. Upon graduation from Baylor he was called to Third Baptist Church in Houston. When Monty Inman began his ministerial career he asked the Lord to use him in smaller churches rather than larger ones. He once remarked that he thanked the Lord for taking him at his word. During his years as a minister he served as pastor in El Campo, Freer, Iago, Balmorhea, and Fort Davis, Texas. In 1999 he came full circle to serve again at Third Baptist Church in Houston where he was elected Pastor Emeritus. In addition to his work in the ministry, Rev. Inman worked with troubled youths for over twenty years, first as a juvenile probation officer for Harris County and later in various positions for the State of Texas. He retired from the state in 1979. He was a past President of the Texas Probation and Parole Association. For the last ten years, he served as a volunteer Chaplain at Saint Luke's Hospital, completing over three thousand hours of volunteer work and visiting over 25,000 patients. Rev. Inman was a native Houstonian, born at the old Memorial Hospital to Alma Reeves Inman and Stuart Montford Inman on January 28, 1913. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Inman; his children: Jeanine Inman Macey of Livingston, Texas; Norma Sue Inman Schmelling of Bandera, Texas; Stuart Montford Inman, III, of Houston, Texas; and Travis Binford Inman of N. Hollywood, California; grandson, Michael Macey of Greene, Maine and great grandchildren, Joshua and Montanna Macey. Rev. Inman graduated from the old Sam Houston High School in 1930. He worked his way through Baylor University during the depression graduating in 1936. While at Baylor he was elected to the National Social Science Honor Society, Pi Gamma Mu. He received a
Masters in Social Work from Sam Houston University and was elected to Alpha Kappa Delta, the National Sociology Honor Society. He was a member of the Baylor Heritage Club and South Main Baptist Church of Houston. The family wishes to acknowledge and thank: Corum Health Care, The Heart Failure Clinic, The Heart Institute, the cardiology staff at St. Luke's Hospital, Professional Home Care Staff.     Funeral services for Eugene Vernon Inman, 86, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2002 at the Wilkins Street Church of Christ in Angleton with Leland Rodgers and Billy Mack officiating. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery.

    Mr. Inman, a 51-year resident of Angleton, was born June 9, 1916 in Winters, TX to Samuel Shelton and Gertrude Turner Inman and passed away Friday, July 19, 2002 in Houston, TX.
    His first love was his church; he was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary and American Legion.
    Mr. Inman was preceded in death by his first wife, Gladyne, and parents. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Audrey Inman of Angleton; son, Charlie Barker of Angleton; daughters, Penny Inman Adams of Spring, Peggy Brooks of New Braunfels, Charlotte Wollam of Angleton; brother, Samuel Inman of Round
Rock; grandchildren, Callie Adams, Seth Barker, Lori Hawkins, Karyn Herron, Darrin Gundy, Rodney Gundy, Jay Brooks, Monica Brooks, Stephanie Wollam, Charles Wollam and 11 great-grandchildren.

Howard J. Bernhardt

    Howard J. Bernhardt, 72, of Victoria, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002.
    He was born Aug. 15, 1929, in Port Arthur, to the late Julius E. and Louise Gest Bernhardt. He was a retired chemical engineer for Dupont and had served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church.
    Survivors: wife, Martha Booth Bernhardt; daughters, Grace E. Bernhardt of Corpus Christi, Louise B. Samuelson of Nairobi, Kenya, and Sally Fonner of Bermuda; sisters, Dorothy B. Phleiteous O'Steen, 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, in Granbury, Texas. She leaves behind many loving family members and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003, at Buffalo Springs Cemetery, Buffalo Springs, Texas, with Pastor Donna Carter officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.

Phleiteous was born on Jan. 23, 1910, in Cobb, Texas, located in Clay County near Buffalo Springs, Texas. She was later known to her friends as "Johnnie." She was the mother of one daughter, and was a beautician for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Marcus Jay Hudson in 1990; her parents George and Lillie Inman; brothers, A.L. "Hoss" Inman, Louie Inman, and Dewey Inman; sisters-in-law, Blanche Inman and Dolly Inman; nephew, Jimmy Inman; great-nieces, Robin Fabus, Paula and Donna Williams.

Survivors include her daughter, Joan Combs of Granbury, Texas; grandsons, Robert, Jeffery and Jimmy Moore of Granbury, Texas; great-granddaughter, Sarah Marie Moore; nephews, Jerry Inman of Wichita Falls and David Inman of Las Vegas, Nev.; nieces, Maxine Collins of Wichita Falls, Jean Crawford and Lavon Williams of Bristow, Okla. and Cynthia Inman of Las Vegas, Nev.

Also special to her were great-nephews, Shane, Chuck and Curtis Withrow, Mike Davis, Clay, Clint, Shane, and Dustin Collins. Others are LaVon Williams' daughters, Debbie and Gina; sons of Jerry Inman, Arthur, Ty and Reese, and his daughters Summer, Lara and Leigh; and Jimmy Inman's daughters, Janie and Jana, and son John Inman; cousin, Helen Richardson of Wichita Falls; special life long friend Mildred Rott of Lewisville, Ky., and numerous other friends and family members.

Special thanks to Debra Humphrey who helped care for her during her stay at Arbor House in Wichita Falls and to the Granbury Villa Nursing Staff for taking such wonderful care.

    Judith Inman, 56, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, in the care and comfort of Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview. Judith was a member of Mobberly Baptist Church.
    Survivors include her mother, Mary Montgomery; a son, Phillip Inman; and a brother, Roy Alan Montgomery. Surviving grandchildren include Phillip Gershom, Charity Ann Inman, Angela Inman, Jericho Inman and Raina Inman. Other survivors include her extended family.

Mary Pauline Inman

    Mary Pauline Inman, 81, passed away December 7, 2003, in Lufkin, Texas. She had resided in Apple Springs, Texas over the last few years.
    Mrs. Inman was born November 29, 1922 in Apple Springs to Dr. R. M. and Bessie Johnston. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2003 in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Ryan Chapel Cemetery. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
    Pauline is survived by her daughter and son in law, Ann and Jack Richardson of Midfield, Texas; son and daughter in law, Marshall and Janet Richardson of Midfield, Texas; 5 grandchildren, Jamie Silva, Lisa Langhorn, John (Fabacher) Silva, Amy Richardson and Cody Richardson; 2 great grandchildren, Jenna Langhorn and Shawn Silva; sister, Juanita Ferguson of Apple Springs; a number of nieces and nephews; and special friend, W.     She was preceded in death by her brothers, Claude, Elmer, and Lloyd Johnston, and sisters, Margie Vance and Margaret Linney.

Mabel Ann Inman

   HENRIETTA - Mabel Ann Inman, age 67, of Henrietta passed away Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2003, in Wichita Falls.
    Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday Jan. 3, 2004, at Calvary Baptist Church in Wichita Falls with the Rev. Danny Hodgkins officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery in Henrietta under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.
    Mrs. Inman was born on Aug. 22, 1936, to the late Wriley and Mary (Campbell) Rambeaut in Lillington, N.C. She married Donald Inman on April 4, 1953, in Benitsville, S.C. Mabel was a Baptist and a member Calvary Baptist Church. She had lived in Henrietta since 1970. A beloved wife and mother, Mabel enjoyed cooking, sewing, fishing, camping, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    Mrs. Inman was preceded in death by her brothers, Bob, Walter, and Rufus Rambeaut; and by her precious daughter, Bonnie Elaine Barnard who passed away in July 2001.
    Survivors include her husband of over 50 years, Don of the home; two sons, Nick Inman and wife, Jan, of Lakeside City and William Inman and wife, Tammy, of Wichita Falls; four grandchildren, Chris Inman and wife, Erin, of Hanover, Pa., Joshua Inman and wife, Shannon, of Leavenworth, Kan., Kimberly Lonjin and husband, Kurt, of Wichita Falls, and Michael Barnard and wife, Crystal, of Wichita Falls; three brothers, Eugene Rambeaut and wife, Edna, of Broadway, N.C., Lewis Rambeaut and wife, Dorothy, of Graham, N.C., and Willis Rambeaut and wife, Barbara, of Raleigh, N.C.; three sisters Mary Bender, of Wake Forest, N.C., Martha Britt and husband, Linwood, of Raleigh, N.C., and Rachel Fulcher and husband, Albert, of Moorehead City, N.C.; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
    Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Friday night Jan. 2, 2004, at the Davis Funeral Home, Henrietta.

    Funeral service for Mary Lewis Inman, 88, of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel in San Angelo, Texas, with William E. Young of Abilene officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
    Mrs. Inman passed away Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004, in Promiseland Care Center. Mary had been a resident there for two years and considered it her home.
    She was born on Oct. 11, 1915, in Kosse, Texas, to Albert and Maude Lewis. After graduating from Texas State College for Women, she married M. B. Inman on July 10, 1943, in San Angelo, Texas. San Angelo was the center of their lives, although they served abroad in various consulting capacities from 1966 to 1980. They had opportunities to contribute to the societies of people in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa and the Caribbean.
    Mary was always teaching; sometimes it was basics to first graders, or home demonstrations of shopping skills to homemakers and sometimes cooking and food preparation to other cultures. She loved to entertain and lived her life according to Proverbs 31. She was a member of Johnson Street Church of Christ in San Angelo.
    Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Mary Frances Inman-Pool; a brother, Brady Lewis; and a sister, Frances Lewis.
    She is survived by a brother, Brooks Lewis of Abilene, Texas; her son, Bob Inman of Lubbock; and two grandsons, Cameron Inman of Irving, Texas, and Tim Inman of San Angelo.
    We will miss her gracious smile and sweet spirit.
    The family suggests memorials be made to West Texas Rehabilitation Center, San Angelo, Texas.

    She was a native of Jasper, Texas, and had lived in Bon Wier for 65 years.
    Survivors include her husband, D.C. Inman of Bon Wier; sons, Kenneth Gilbert of Pt. Neches, Texas, Curtis Gilbert of Jennings, and John Gilbert of Zwolle; daughter, Brenda Eastwood of Sulphur; sister, Hazel Patterson of Sun City Center, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

    Floyd D. Inman, 81, of Warren passed away on Friday, Jan. 23, 2004 at Tyler County Hospital in Woodville.
    Funeral services were Sunday, Jan. 25 at 3 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Warren with burial in Allison Cemetery. Officiating were Brother Mark Smith and Brother Kenneth Cauthen. Serving as pallbearers were; B. J. Elliott, Windom Elliott, Danny Todd, Vernon White, Billy Fondren and Tim Knight.
    Floyd was born Jan. 2, 1923 to David and Agnes Inman in Smackover, Arkansas. He was a World War II veteran serving in the Army/Air Force and was Postmaster in Warren for 31 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Warren.
    He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jewel Inman; daughters and sons-in-law Judy and Mike Holick of Bryan, Tomye Jo and Mike Gardner of Show Low, Arizona; sister, Violet Wethington of Arlington; 4 grandchildren Christine and husband Danny Todd of Angleton, Heather and husband, Vernon White of Houston, B. J. and wife, Cheree Elliott of Warren, Windom and wife, Farah Elliott of Shreveport, Louisiana; 3 great grandchildren, Nicholas, Gavin and Carley Elliott; 2 step great grandchildren, Kyle and Cody Adams.

    Amos Wente, 84, longtime San Antonio resident, died Wednesday, February 26, 2004, following a brief illness. 
    Amos was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lela Soper Wente; wife of 50 years, Ruth Ellen Skaggs Wente; daughter, Sue Ellen Wente. Amos is survived by his current wife, Mary Barrera Wente; four children, Carole Corder of Kettle Falls, WA, Amy Murphy of Edom, TX, Thomas Wente of San Antonio, and Patricia Wente-McCabe of Houston and their spouses. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, six stepchildren and 17 step-grandchildren. 
    Amos enjoyed varied careers as a soldier, crop duster, business owner and salesman. He excelled in, and enjoyed, dancing, car repair, gardening, music, hunting and golf, and he was a fount of information for his children and grandchildren on almost any subject. Amos and his first wife Ruth, along with their five children, were early members of the old San Antonio Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where they formed lifelong friendships. 
    Our Dad, Grandpa, Crappaw, Uncle Bubby, Amos we'll all miss him.

    Keith J. Abbe, age 34 died Sunday March 7, 2004. The son of Deborah (Inman) Gordon and the late Jerome Abbe Jr. was born on December 10, 1969 in Midland. Keith graduated from Bullock Creek High School in 1988; he graduated from Delta College and later graduated from Central Michigan University with a BA in History. He started his teaching career as a student teacher with the H. H. Dow High School and later taught history for E.T.C. of Midland prior to moving to Arizona to teach at the Cartwright School System for at risk student's ages 16 to 19.
    Keith was an accomplished and talented martial artist, karate instructor, practitioner and teacher of authentic ancient Okinawan weapons under the instruction of the late weapons master Matayoshi Shimpo. Keith spent nearly fifteen years of arduous training in Shorin-Ryu kratedo under the instruction of world famous master Tadashi Yamashita. Keith and fellow black-belt Kevin Lee, initially practiced together in the back yard of their local sensei, Ragnar Avery, eventually assisting in the birth and growth of Sensei Averys school, The Midland Shorin-Ryu Karate Budokan. Several years ago, Keith and Kevin opened their own Kobudo (Okinawan weapons) program. Keith loved karate and he loved teaching. He brought an uncommon enthusiasm and he imparted a sense of joy for learning and seeking knowledge to every one of his karate students, just as he did with each of his students in the school system where he taught. Keiths presence and dynamic influence will be greatly missed by all of us who taught along side with him, as well as by all of us who learned so much from him.
    Keith was also an accomplished building tradesman. He was expert at rough and finish carpentry, dry walling, ceramic tiling, and artistic renovation of both old homes and new construction. He brought the same level of artistic perception and expression to his construction and renovation jobs which he imparted to his teaching responsibilities. For a season, Keith taught and worked with Kevin, an experienced emergency physician by trade, in a successful home renovation enterprise which they administered jointly.
    Keith is survived by his mother Deborah Gordon and his step father Gary Gordon of Midland. He is also survived by his sister Angela Lala (Mark) King of Midland; nieces Ashley, Sarah, Courtney and nephew Markie all of Midland; grandparents, Marjorie Inman, Vivian Abbe both of Midland and Helen Witbrodt of De Leon Springs, FL. Keith will be missed by several aunts, uncles, cousins and his extended school and Karate friends. Keith was predeceased by his father, Jerome K.Abbe,Jr.; grandfathers, Howard Inman, Jerome K. Abbe,Sr. and Ted Witbrodt.
    Funeral service for Keith will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, March 15, 2004 from the Midland Missionary Church with the Reverend Fred Becknell officiating. Interment will be in Lee Twp.     Robert D. (Bob) Inman, 68, of Midland died Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at his home. The son of the late John and Cecil (Engle) Inman was born April 19, 1935 in Bay City. Bob married the former Dorene Donahue on February 24, 1956 in Midland. He was employed for 30 years at Sova and Sons, retiring in 1996. Bob enjoyed playing softball, camping, hunting, dune buggy riding and watching wrestling.
    He is survived by his wife, Dorene; sons, Joseph Butters, Bobby Butters, and Troy Bovee all of Midland; daughters, Kay Miller of Midland, Roberta (James) Dumas of Detroit, Mary McInnis, Billie (Brent) LaLonde and Dorene (Rick) Bergeron all of Midland; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren including one special great grandson, Bobby Joe Butters, Jr.; brother, Larry (Betty) Inman of Midland; sister, Sally Huggard of Houghton Lake. James Kelton Inmon Sr.

    James Kelton Inmon Sr., died Friday morning, April 2, 2004, at his residence after a nine-year battle with cancer. James was born Aug. 9, 1954, in Corsicana, to Jasper James "Sonny" Inmon Jr. and Johnnie Dean Wright Inmon. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jymie Carol; his father and stepmother, Sonny and Betty Inmon of Malakoff; sister, Donna Burton and husband Carl of Mont Belvieu; son, James K. Inmon Jr. and wife Teri of Kerens; daughter, Jillian Reaves and husband David of Kerens; Jennifer Inmon of College Station; daughter, Jamie Kay Woodall and husband Josh of College Station; and a host of extended family and friends. James was preceded in death by his mother.
    James was reared in the Cayuga area and graduated from Cayuga High School in 1972. He attended Navarro College and Henderson County Junior College before completing his bachelor of science in agricultural education at Tarleton State University in Stephenville. He met his wife in Stephenville and they married in 1976. He taught school in Tampa, Fla., at Sligh Junior High, worked for Nipak Plastics in Corsicana as a quality control engineer, and taught vocational classes for Henderson County Junior College (now Trinity Valley Community College) for over 25 years. He taught off-campus at the Coffield, Michaels and Beto units of the Texas Department of Corrections in Tennessee Colony. James was a Christian and was a member of First Baptist Church of Kerens.
    Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Paschal Funeral Home. Service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Kerens. Burial will follow at Long Prairie Cemetery.
    Pallbearers will be Paul Duff, G. L. Thomas, Jerry Jordan, Rexanne Crofut, Rita Fields and Kelly Kilcrease. Honorary pallbearers will be Bert Kilcrease, Kenny Kilcrease, Kenneth Kilcrease and James McCarter.

    HOUSTON - Mary Nell Inman Head, 87, formerly of Texas City passed away Thursday, September 9, 2004, in Houston.
    Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2004, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Dickinson. Visitation will be at Emken-Linton Funeral Home on Saturday following the service from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Additional services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, September 13, 2004, at Riles Funeral Home in Vicksburg, Mississippi and burial will follow at Yokena Cemetery.
    She was born February 2, 1917, in Denver, Colorado and moved to Texas when she was six months old with her mother and sister following the death of her father. In 1937, Nell lived in Houston where she met and married Bobb Head. In 1948, Nell and Bobb moved to Texas City where they brought up their four sons. She was a lifetime member of the Catholic church, often serving as head of the Altar Society at St. Mary's Church as well as several terms as PTA President at Our Lady of Fatima School. She enjoyed many friends in the DAR and the Tuesday Morning Sewing Club.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Gibson Bobb Head, her son John William Head and her sister Pat Inman Daniel. She is survived by her son Michael Bobb Head and his wife, Alice Bohlae, son David Richmond Head and his wife Linda Head, son Louis Gibson Head and his wife Sharon Head. Also by her nine grandchildren, five step grand children, and seven great-grand children as well as many friends and relatives.
    Nell was a refined and gentle woman who cared for those around her and was loved by all who knew her.

    Morriah K. Inman, 14 months, of Oklahoma City died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004, at O.U. Medical Center Children's Hospital.

    Morriah was born July 6, 2003, at Fort Sill in Lawton, Okla. She was our miracle when she came to us and now God has chosen, through our tragedy, to make many more miracles come to light.     Funeral arrangements are complete at the Zoeller Funeral Home for Marcelle Inman, age 80, who passed away Monday, Oct. 11, 2004, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in New Braunfels, Texas.
    She is survived by her husband, Hal Inman, of New Braunfels, Texas; her daughters, Gail McCue of Arlington, Texas, and Karen Inman of Great Falls, Montana; seven grandchildren, Michelle, Scott, Chris, Joe, Christina, Kenneth and Jennifer; five great grandchildren, Kieran, Adanna, Katarina, Carys, Karyssa; and numerous other relatives from across the United States.

    Mrs. Florence Nelson Innmon was born on Aug 29 1926 , to Polly and Carl Nelson and she passed from this life peacefully on Dec 16, 2004 at the age of 78 and in the comfort of her home.
    Florence was born and raised on a farm south of Brainerd Minnesota, where she lived happily with her three brothers Patrick, Bobby and Marvin Nelson and one sister and best friend Mildred Grayson.
    Florence was preceded in death by her parents Polly and Carl Nelson and her brother Marvin.
    Florence graduated from Brainerd Jr. Collage in 1948. 
    She married Leroy L. Innmon March 3 1949 in San Antonio, TX and devoted her life to raising her three sons, David, Patrick and Mark.

    ROCKDALE - Services for Kenneth V. Inman, 69, of Rockdale, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale with the Rev. Charles Cole officiating.
    Inman died Sunday, Dec. 26, at a Rockdale hospital.
    He was born in Skiatook, Okla., to Virgil and Maxine Inman.
    He raised in Skiatook, where graduated from high school. After graduation he joined the U.S. Navy and served more than three years. After his discharge, he attended firefighting school and became a firefighter in Kansas. While working there he entered law enforcement school and worked with the Kendall County Sheriff's Department. While there he started a photography business in Seguin. He worked for the Rockdale Police Department from 1994 until his retirement in 2002. He drove for Raudin McCormick who was contracted to Union Pacific Railroad. He lived in Rockdale for 11 years.
    He married Jean Schoonover March 16, 1996, in Lowake.
    Survivors include his wife, of Rockdale; two sons, Charles R. Supak of Gatesville and Matt May of Lawrence, Kan.; two daughters, Jeana Davidson of Midland and Christine Blanchard of Lawrence; and five grandchildren.
    Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.

    Stuart Montford Inman III died suddenly on October 5, 2005. Born May 9, 1947 in El Campo, Texas. Proceeded in death by his parents, Norma Binford Inman and Rev. Stuart Montford (Monty) Inman Jr. Survived by sisters, Jeanine Inman Macey and Norma Inman Schmelling; brother, Travis Binford Inman; aunt, Dalgus Binford; step-mother Sylvia Hatfield Inman.
    He was a devout member of Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church. He was a dutiful and devoted son, a loyal and dedicated brother, a caring and generous friend.

    Mary Kathleen "Kitty" Phillips was born November 24, 1926 in Dallas, Texas and passed away October 14, 2005 in Dallas, Texas. Kitty graduated from Highland Park High School and attended Southern Methodist University. Kitty was preceded in death by her father, Harvey T. Redden, her mother, Minnie Redden, her husband, Samuel H. Phillips, and by her daughter, Kathleen Anne Phillips who passed away on September 30, 2005. Kitty was active in organizations associated with the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas and in her parish, Christ The King Catholic Church where she and her family were parishioners for over fifty years. Kitty was a kind and caring person who was extremely generous to worthy charities. She was also a devoted wife and mother who cared for her daughter Kathy's juvenile diabetes throughout her life. Services will be held October 22, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX. Entombment to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
