Mrs. J. R. Langford of Rosston is Dead

Mrs. J. R. Langford, age 66 years, died at her home near Rosston Sunday morning at 2 o'clock following a lingering illness of Bright's disease and acute pneumonia.
Deceased is survived by her husband and five children, two sons and three daughters, as follows: Zion and Marlow Langford, Mrs. Clara Dempsey, Mrs. Mary Cross and Mrs. Willie McGee. She was taking care of four grandchildren at the time of her death.
Funeral services were held at the residence Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, Reverend W. J. Wilson, Methodist minister of Era officiating. Interment was made under the direction of Undertaker S. W. Gibson.
W. T. Langford Died at his Home Near Sivells Bend May

W. T. Langford, age 67, a farmer residing north of Sivells Bend, died very suddenly yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock while working in a cotton field. He is survived by several grown children, his wife ha ing died some years ago.
Funeral services were held at the High Point Cemetery this afternoon, Geo. J. Carroll having charge of the interment.
Pioneer of Sivells Bend Passes Away

The death of Mrs. Susan Lankford, wife of W. P. Lankford, occurred at the family home in Sivells Bend Tuesday after an illness of many months duration, her death resulting from cancer. Mrs. Lankford was one of the pioneer settlers of that community, and her death is mourned by many friends.
The funeral and interment occurred Wednesday afternoon, burial being made in the family burying ground at Sivells Bend -- Marietta Monitor.

St. Jo March 15 funeral services for John Thomas Langford, 73, who died at his home between St. Jo and Bonita Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, were held at Center Point Baptist Church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. N. B. Haralson, Baptist minister of Bonita, officiated. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, west of St. Jo under the direction of Scott Brothers.
Pallbearers were Arthur Allen, Claude Ayers, Jim Dozier, M. D. Ellis, W. T. Tompkins, and J. E. Langford.
Mr. Langford is survived by one son, Will Langford and two daughters, Mrs. Lee Jordan and Mrs. Grover Howard and several grandchildren, all living near Bonita, and two brothers, Enoch Langford of Wellington and J. C. Langford of Bonita. Mrs. Langford died in 1927.
Mr. Langford was born in Tennessee on October 19, 1860, and came to Denton County, Texas in 1871. In 1875 he moved to Montague County and on November 26, 1885 was married to Miss Nancy Ann Case at Montague, Texas. He was a prosperous farmer and a member of the Baptist Church since 1900.
